Anna the Dog needs a home

Anna Bananna is a 10 yr old Chihuahua that happened to end up at the shelter. She is a sweet older gal that is looking for her retirement home. She currently lives with big and small dogs and does well and she even tolerates the puppy in the house. She would prefer a calmer doggie brother or sister though. She is crate trained and housebroken although she is fine being left out of the crate when her foster parents are away. She loves going on walks, sunbathing, and just hanging out with her human. She is losing her sight but she gets around just fine. Anna is spayed, UTD, HW neg and chipped. Her adoption fee is $150.

You must be willing to commute to the location that the pet is being fostered in order to be eligible to adopt. We do not ship our pets. We also require that you personally bring the pet back to us should the adoption not work out.  


We do NOT negotiate adoption fees.  Our fees have not changed in years, although vetting, food, supplies, etc has all gone up.  All money goes to our dogs and the running of this rescue.  We are 100% volunteered based.


Adoption fees are non-refundable.


Please expect any new pet you bring into your house to need an adjustment period. 


 Your current dog must be current on vaccines and on heartworm prevention.
